In Georgia Courts, No Child is a Criminal
M. Qader A. Baig & Associates, LLC — A Conyers, Georgia Law Firm
If a child is called “criminal,” he or she will start to believe it. Juvenile court adjudication becomes a defining moment in a child’s life. Instead of punishing the child, juvenile delinquency and unruliness should be seen as an opportunity to help the child get back on the right track.

Working In the Interest of the Child
In Georgia, the juvenile court requires that all parties act “in the interest” of the child before the Court. It’s a different philosophy entirely from traditional criminal defense. But many attorneys don’t understand it — including prosecutors.
Attorney M. Qader A. Baig spent more than 5 years as a juvenile court prosecutor. Together with Administrative Assistant Leesa Wilson, who spent 12 years in juvenile court both as a clerk and as a juvenile investigator, we strive to educate our clients with an insider’s perspective on juvenile court purpose and function. When an inexperienced, overzealous prosecutor doesn’t understand the court’s purpose is to serve the interest of the child and to save the child — not to punish — we remind them.
Being charged with a crime in juvenile court doesn’t mean you can’t still achieve success in life. It doesn’t need to close the doors of opportunity.
We help our clients turn adversity into opportunity in juvenile court. We bring the child, family, judge, prosecutor, probation, and all other interested parties together to the table with the goal of a disposition in the interest of the child before the court. With a child accused in juvenile court, the process is different, but fair. Just make sure your lawyer knows it.
We Won’t Ignore You or Your Child. We’ll Answer.
At M. Qader A. Baig & Associates, LLC, we stay in close contact with our clients throughout their proceedings. All clients’ concerns are addressed as required, even outside traditional business hours. Your case is important to us, and we’ll go to great lengths to prove it.
Has your child been accused of underage drinking, assault, or shoplifting? We’ll sit with you and discuss your case, your options, the law and your role within the legal system. When you understand the nature of the law and its purpose, the charges may seem less intimidating. We educate clients so they never feel left in the dark and so they can make well-informed decisions.
We Build Lasting Relationships with Clients
We intend our legal representation to afford our juvenile clients an opportunity to contribute to society and we welcome good word of their progress through the years. We pride ourselves in being invited to graduations, and being informed of scholarships and meaningful job opportunities when it comes to our juvenile clients. Please let us help you help your child.
